Daycare for Dogs and Cats of Active Clients
Johnston Animal Hospital offers daycare services for dogs and cats of active clients Monday through Friday during our regular business hours. You can head out for the day and know your pets are safe in good hands.
Doggie Day Care offers both indoor and outdoor kennel spaces. The indoor kennels are temperature-controlled and feature calming music to help your dog feel at ease while lounging on plush blankets or a fluffy bed. The outdoor kennels are spacious and covered, so your dog can hang out outside when the weather is mild. Tasty treats are provided with toys and lick mats. Every dog receives enrichment time — personalized one-on-one attention and playtime from our animal caretakers. Our enrichment is customized to your pet, so whether your dog prefers romping in our fenced yard chasing a toy or simply being cuddled in someone’s lap, we can provide just what your dog needs to have a fun day out.
The Cozy Kitty Club offers deluxe, indoor-only suites. Your cat will be able to relax in a temperature-controlled, cat-only area where they can enjoy an engaging view out of a large window. Our suites feature two areas – a glass-fronted viewing area with an upper shelf for napping and a closed-fronted area for kitties who prefer privacy. Kitties are provided with cozy blankets or enclosed beds and delicious cat treats. We have fear-free music playing to help your cat feel relaxed while they watch birds feeding outside the window. Enrichment time is customized to your kitty’s preference, whether it is prowling around the kitty room, pouncing on a feather toy with one of our animal caretakers, or simply being stroked and cuddled; we can provide just what your cat needs to enjoy a fun day out.
Does your pet require medication during their stay? Rest assured, a trained team member will handle the administration of their medications.
For the protection of all patients, pets are required to be up to date on vaccinations and free of internal and external parasites before the date of their stay.
