National Heat Awareness Day  was created “to encourage employers and workers to recognize the warning signs for heat illness and keep workers safe.” Although it is centered on the workplace, it raises awareness about the dangers of heat for everyone including family pets.

Even on days when it doesn’t seem “that” hot, the warm weather can be a threat to family pets. Take time to read the following information to be ready for the “Dog Days” of summer ahead.
